| 10 | 08/09/04 | Well done on such an
informative
site. I live in Kensington Road and cannot believe the complete apathy we
have witnessed to this scheme. Unbelievably none of our neighbours
attended
last night's protest at the Town Hall and I was amazed at how few turned
out. I will keep on talking to everyone about what devastation
Crossrail
will cause if the depot comes to Romford and hopefully it will encourage
people to start becoming more active. Thanks to those who put this
website
together -- it is a fantastic achievement.
C.A.G. Reply: Keep up the good work, spreading the word. Thank you!! |

take
you from Romford to Tottenham Court Road is very appealing, but to build a
depot in such a built up residential area is frankly, absurd. Another
example of the people of Romford being used as no more than puppets in
every
chancer's commercial exercise.

| 8 | 01/09/04 | Thank you C.A.G. for sticking to your guns and continuing with this worthwhile campaign. You are doing a truly wonderful job. It strikes me that Crossrail are keeping us in the dark, failing to give up key information until just before they come up with something new and, in turn, keeping us hanging on for that. It's just not ethical, although it seems to be the way this country is going; making residents pay for this development, not only by building in their gardens and park land, but financially, in fares. | Anonymous |
| 7 | 01/09/04 | A big well done to the C.A.G. team. I hope everybody who has supported the campaign against Crossrail's proposals for Romford, will keep doing so. Well done to everybody involved and keep up the good work!!! | Anonymous |
| 6 | 31/08/04 | This website is very good,
in
fact its perfect for all the residents who are going to be under the threat
of this Monster called CROSS RAIL but may I make a suggestion ? It must
cost
a lot of time & money to get this on the web pages so I'm thinking that
we
should raise a 'Fighting Fund' to keep this brilliant web site going , or
is
there any other ideas on this very important subject.. thank
you... C.A.G. Reply: Thank you for your very positive response to our web-site. The site itself has been sponsored by a small group of residents from Beechfield Gardens, who wish to remain anonymous. At the moment we don't envisage any major financial outlay in the near future, but it is comforting to know that residents are aware that we may need to raise funds if this campaign gains momentum. |

involved in getting the C.A.G. Website up and running. Local residents can now see how Crossrail's proposals are going to impact on the local community and be kept informed of all new developments. |
