Opposing the Crossrail Plan for Romford & Chadwell Heath
The following reply was received to my
letter to Blyth Group Limited:
Following a recent visit by one of our
representatives I can confirm out finding as follows;
1. The old fence post left on the embankment
were not part of the fence removed by our operatives however action has been
taken to remove the majority of concrete post from the site irrespective of
this.
2. Other rubbish such as tyres, old trolleys
etc were on the site before the work commenced. We have instruction to
renew the fence only, not remove waste left by others.
3. In clearing a line for the new fence we have
to remove a strip of vegetation. Initially this can expose the surface
beneath however having completed many sites similar to this I am confident
that by summer next year new natural growth will have covered the site.
3. As contractors for Network Rail we have no
knowledge of the depot mentioned in your letter.

inconvenience caused as it is not our intention to cause any upset. If I
